Welcome to the Desert Angels. We are a Tucson, Arizona based non-profit organization of accredited investors who seek opportunities to invest in Southwest regional startup or early stage companies. The organization serves only as a forum for its over 70 members, who invest individually from their personal funds. Since 2000, Desert Angel members have invested over $10 million in more than 40 presenting companies.

As a vibrant, growing organization, the Desert Angels welcomes new members. We appreciate your interest in becoming a Desert Angel.

The Desert Angels holds monthly dinner meetings from September through June. In addition to listening to one or two companies present their investment opportunities, members often hear from nationally recognized speakers including successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and thought leaders in the angel investment community.

We encourage prospective members to join us at a dinner meeting as guests of the organization to learn more about angel investing, meet our existing members and observe how the Desert Angels evaluate entrepreneurial companies. We are confident you will find our meetings to be relaxing and informative.

Under federal law, only Accredited Investors may become members of angel investment groups, including the Desert Angels. Accredited Investors are defined as individuals who have an individual net worth, or joint net worth with spouse, of at least $1,000,000; or individuals with annual income in excess of $200,000 if single, or $300,000 if married.
